Stunning strategic game that challenges you to dominate over the imaginary universe that is presented by the hexagon field. Master your skills from beginner to professional and further to expert, choosing different tactics for each level.
The more you play the more strategies you learn, the more interesting the gameplay is. You can move your crystal to cell near it, and new crystal will be born. Or you can make a jump over one cell leaving empty place. When you place your crystal next to opponent’s it will transform them into your own and you can use them to make your next moves. You win if by the end of the game you have more crystals than your opponent. You can play against the computer or against your mate.
Graphics are elaborated, featuring different effects. And sound will intensify your impression of this breathtaking game.

Ive been waiting for a decent remake to come out for a while.
Some bad moments
A favorite in the early 90s, this one is just like it. Played a game . . . Ive still got it!
This is definitely the old Hexxagon game we love, but the controls lag quite a bit. It takes at least a full second after tapping the screen for anything to happen. If that gets fixed...5-star game.
If you like the original pc Hexxagon you will like this game. The AI, controls and sound are great!
Good fun game. Its better to play vs. Human because that way its not as hard. (depending on who you are playing against) its also always random
Vs. Human player. But playing against the computer it is almost impossible to win.
I wish there was an option to turn the sound off or to be able to listen to music OVER the sound. There doesnt seem to be any settings or options---would be even better if there were.
I was thrilled to find this game for the iPhone because I had it way back when it was a DOS game for the PC.
It is a very challenging game, kind of a mix of checkers and Othello.
This app could use some more development for the iPhone, though. Response is a little sluggish. (OS 4) The controls need to be better. The control is by touching the cell you want to move into, but the cells are too small on the iPhone, so it is very easy to touch the wrong cell by mistake. It would probably work better on the iPad, just because the screen is bigger.
The AI is unrelenting on the medium setting, so there is no room for mistake.
There are no "extras" on this app. You cant choose which color you want your piece to be. No option to edit the playfield. They dont have the little bumble bee lightbulb graphic that made the original so cute. The sound is very basic. No sound options, not even on / off. These dont matter to the game play, but really, they could have put a little more detail into it.
If you want a challenging game that is a mix of checkers and othello and you have small fingers, youll like this.
